To Start:

Directions:

1.  Carefully place the items in the bag on your desk.

2.  Make sure you have your spiral and a pencil.

3.  Did you know that children all over the world play with string? Read the first few pages in the book to learn about the areas where the string games came from.

4.   Try making some of the string art from the book.

5.  This website has some videos on making different things with string from the Navajo people:

6.  In your journal, draw one of the things you made with the string. Tell which country it came from.
