To start:

1. Gather your spiral and pencil.
2. Write the title on the top line.
3. Write your name and date in top right corner.


Directions:

1.   Carefully place the items in the bag on your desk.

2.   Make sure you have your spiral and a pencil.

4. Pick a person to play this game with. Read the rules of the game on the website before beginning.

5. Answer these questions in your science journal.

How did they decide which shapes to choose?

Did they get quicker at finding out the rule?

What was the smallest number of shapes they needed to try?

Could you make some more shapes to add to the set? What would you make and why?

Tell about some of the rules you chose and how you decided which shapes to try.

6. Now you can play the same game except use the blocks and the Venn diagram paper and let your partner guess both of the attributes you have chosen. See next page as an example:

What rules did you choose? How did your partner do? Did they solve it quickly?
