LEGO Mindstorms

1. Gather your spiral and a pencil.
2. Title Lab:  Mindstorms NXT 
3. Open the LEGO Mindstorms manual (9797).
4. Complete steps to making your Mindstorms NXT.
5.  Skip a line in the spiral. Label and underline: Making the Model
6. Describe how process of making model took place. Easy? Difficult? Any frustrations? Did you have to redo any part? If so, what?
7. Now, begin to explore with programming.
8. Skip a line in your spiral. Label and underline: Programming Results
9. Print out your programs (use SCREEN SHOT command if needed). Tape your programs into your spiral.
10.Write about the program you created. Give them names. Explain what they did. How did you problem solve (battery issues, cord in wrong ports, rewrite program, etc.)?
11. Repeat steps #8-10 for each new program.
12. I expect to see A LOT of programs and writing during this lab. It is easy to keep trying things without documenting. But this is your science grade. Documenting in writing determines your grade!
